Stuck in the Muck!

Yesterday, the Blossoms read the book One Duck, Stuck, about a duck that gets trapped in mud, and calls on other animals for help. We were going to make our own mud for sensory play outside, but it turned out to be a rainy morning, so we created mud indoors from paint and a bit of sand. Then the kiddos used plastic animals to make tracks on paper. They connected it back to the book right away, most of them saying, “It’s stuck in the mud!” about their animals.
