Rain Cloud Science Experiment

Time for some science! Today with the Blossoms, we used two ingredients to simulate how rain falls from the clouds. We filled a jar with water, topped it with some shaving cream ‘clouds’ and dropped food coloring on top. The coloring slowly made its way through the shaving cream before it started ‘falling’ like raindrops into the water. Using simple language, we were able to explore this concept, and the kiddos all found it super exciting. “Look, it’s raining!” many of them exclaimed, watching the coloring spiraling through the water. We talked about how outside, rain falls from the clouds in the same way.
