Today we started our natural egg dyeing project. We took a walk down to Kettle pond and collected different leaves and other items to put on our eggs. Each child picked what they wanted for their egg and helped place them before we covered them in pieces of pantyhose. Tonight they’ll be coming home with Miss Emily and I’ll be using yellow onion skins, red cabbage, beets and turmeric to try to dye them. Stay tuned for the results!
