Welcome to Bee Balm Learning Center’s Summer Camp for school-age children—our “Butterfly Weeds”!

Each week is packed with hands-on learning, outdoor exploration, and fun community adventures designed to keep campers engaged all summer long.

A typical day includes arrival and morning garden time, breakfast, a main activity (such as a group project, crafts, nature exploration, or a field trip), lunch, quiet choice time with books or games, afternoon free choice indoors or outdoors, and an afternoon snack before pickup.

Campers should come each day with a backpack, labeled water bottle, and optional hat/sunglasses and a book for quiet time; we also ask families to provide a morning snack. Families will be notified in advance if a day requires an ice pack lunch bag, swimsuit, or towel due to off-site lunch or water play.

Bee Balm provides breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack, with menus shared through Brightwheel, and we’ll communicate if any allergy accommodations require a parent-provided component.

The field trip and activity schedule below is subject to change as we finalize summer details, confirm partner availability, and adjust for weather or transportation needs. We’ll post updates as plans are finalized, but this schedule is still a helpful preview of the kinds of experiences campers can look forward to—like outdoor adventures, museum and zoo days, splash pads and swimming, creative arts, and hands-on STEM-style activities.
