Hennessy Family Traditions
In our home, we always put our tree up right after Thanksgiving. Since Violet's big brother isn't always with us on thanksgiving day (he alternates years between our house and his mommy's house), we wait until he is with us to put up our tree. This year was Violet's first time for this tradition! She loved watching the lights flicker around her as her daddy and big brother put the lights on the tree. She also enjoyed feeling the tin fibers of the tree. For the past 2 years, we have used a 1950's style aluminum tree, which she seemed to really love to look at. We are excited to continue our tradition of putting the tree up as a family of 4 and look forward to what next year might bring us!
