St. Patrick’s day was a super fun, busy day in the Blossoms. We started out right away in the morning making some Sweet Irish Bread. Cooking projects are a great way for the kiddos to learn early math concepts, as well as social skills. They worked on measuring, pouring, stirring, taking turns and more. And we LOVED eating our yummy bread at lunchtime.
We also danced to Irish music, and made mosaic shamrocks. Each child painted their shamrock with glue, then placed different patterned green squares of scrapbook paper on the outline to make a mosaic. Each of the Blossoms were so particular about where they placed their paper, taking their time until it was just right.
